EVERY GIRL NEEDS A PHONE!

SUNDAY AT HOME

We are still getting use to a new environment and routine. Sleep is in spurts so we just take it as it comes. I will post more when we get more rest. Bob saved the day and took Bing from 4 AM until 11 AM. Mom got some sleep. She is happy today. I will be working some flex time for this week to get us all back on the swing. Thanks to everyone who has called or stopped by!

ARE YOU MY DADDY?

WHAT A WONDERFUL WELCOME HOME!
Much to our surprise, there were many people at the airport to greet us. I was so touch and shocked. I knew there were not that many people on the plane, but I heard a lot of voices in the baggage area downstairs. As we turned the corner after coming down the escalator, sure enough, we were greeted by so many wonderful friends and family. Thank you everyone. I will remember that moment forever! I have no photos, but I am sure I will get some from those who were there.

Bob was so sweet and had banners all over the house: IT'S A GIRL! and WELCOME HOME! We missed home and him so much. After he treated us to a steak dinner (with salad that we missed!!), we put Bing to bed and I am going next. It was a very long plane ride and we are happy to be in the USA. Give me a few days and we will be back to ourselves...pluss one wonderful baby girl!

LAST POST FOR A WHILE

We returned to Hong Kong where I am unable to post photos. We fly home tomorrow and get to Peoria about 5:45 PM. Thanks for following along. We will post again after we are home a few days and have been able to sleep! It may take a few days for Melaina Bing Nasim Humbles to adjust. It may take mom a few days too! Can't wait to see all.

We have many more photos of NT and Stanely. Next on their itenerary: London with Emily! They are such worldy travelers. Until they see you again!

OUR WONDERFUL HOUSEKEEPER, DAISY

Bing's not for peace!

THE COUCH EXPLAINED

Bing is on the far left, as you can see her legs stick out the farthest. Janet and I decided Bing is about a head longer than the other babies. (Maybe Daddy will be teaching her basketball and tennis!) Bing is only a few weeks older than some. All babies are XuWenn Babies, except the baby in pink and gold standing by me. There were two absent XuWenn Babies that will be in the photo today. We will take one before we travel for our last appointment at the Consulate for the Visa Ceremony.

Thanks for the posts. Heather, can't wait for you to meet Bing too! And for my XuWenn mothers who came before, it is so good to hear from you! We do have some well-loved babies!

THANKS

I want to thank everyone for the posts. Also for those emails and all my cyber buddies on the group who gave me help and suggestions to make Melaina Bing Nasim Humbles better! Yesterday we got her official passport, the visa and other paperwork should be ready soon. China is a country that really shows love for children and elderly. The paper trail is one way they keep track, but it is amazing how women and some men on the street look at and adore the babies. Some with curiosity, others with love, some with what I guess is a fore lorn look of perhaps personal loss in a story untold. I am grateful to this place for giving me Bing. I know we will return someday so she can learn part of her own history.

On a less somber note, I surely can't wait to eat some American food and see my friends and family. I am hoping Bob's dad is doing better, as he was in the hospital. Love to everyone. I really miss my work family too. Can't wait to get big hugs from Bobby, Tiger, Lily, and Fredrick O'Patty! Sa and Peggy, I am so ready for a Starbucks date! Dad, I am ready to walk the mall. Bing has my legs plenty strong!

We leave on the 20th in China! Arrive on the 20th in Peoria! Gaining a day will be nice.

HAPPY GIRL IS BACK!
