BIG GIRL GOES TO SCHOOL

After my attempt for weekend tumbling, where I am the only one who got a great workout, I asked my ECE expert, Jeanne M. about motor skill development. She recommended A+ Academy. The Academy uses the Reggio Amilia approach to brain and motor development. Anyway, the academy sends me a "Today We" everyday to explain what they did. Here is one of them. Bing seems to really enjoy the music, running and dance.
Bing fussed the first two days because she missed Sa. It was a new routine and she wasn't quite sure! The third day, she turned to Bob and said, "Bye Bye!"
Bing needed the one-on-one her first year. We so appreciate the love the Sa provided. Sa will be giving up sitting after this year, so we were able to get Bing in A+ Academy. We will always be thankful for Sa's help with our transitioning Bing upon her arrival to the states.

ONE OF MY HEROS

God Bless Ms. Van Acker, in her favorite blue,
and our friend Gail. MEVA (Mary Ellen
Van Acker) as we called her, touched so many
individuals and was one of the finest
people I have every met. A top-notch teacher,
and my friend, MEVA once told me when I was
a first year principal, "It is not about winning,
but finding a way for everyone to feel valued."
It has always stayed with me and so will her
spirit. Even as she prepared to leave us, she
taught us with her strength and grace.
We love you MEVA!
