After reading Jetta's mom's post, it just occurred to me: Today is a special day! One year ago today, we learned of our daughter.
While I prepared breakfast, there was a call from Lisa Scott. She asked if I had read Rumor Queen. Reports in Europe claimed packages arrived from China! We placed a call to the caseworker to give her the heads up. I was shocked and broke down with tears of joy, relief, and nervousness! Bob was surprised I was so stunned. We had just waited SO long and did not expect to hear much until after the holidays.
Sure enough the call came that afternoon. Peggy and Sara were here. We listened to details of Bing, meaning ice or purity...Her weight and length at birth...the package and photos arrived the next day. Dad, Terri and Bob were here. Upon opening the picture I remember thinking my baby had very little hair. Just look at her now! It was such a great day and fills my heart with joy thinking of it!
Bing is napping here in her home. I am typing and long story short is that she is the best thing in my life along with family and friends! God has truly blessed us. We are so thankful!

Thought we'd be able to pull off our regular Christmas break lunch this week, but where has the week gone? Drew wanted to come along and meet Bing ... but I think the week is shot now with some things going on the next couple of days. Darn! Hope you enjoy your last few days of break!
